A lazy Sunday

Yesterday Kobe and I went to Shen and spent some time with Grandma, Gama, and Grandpa and then on the way back Kobe and I stopped to do some shots at the beloved schoolhouse that I love so much.

Then we headed straight to his baseball game (he's the catcher in this pic) and Maddie even made a new friend and the two "Mae-Mae's" had fun together going down the slides!

Madison thinks the world of Kobe and she LOVES hanging out in his room like him. I found her in there watching tv and going through his yearbooks, - she is such a little ham.

Happy 9 months Jackson!!

Can you believe it - Jackson turned 9 months last Friday!!! We went to the doctor and believe it or not our little guy has started to shed some pounds! She said it is normal now that he is crawling around so much. He weighed in at 21 pounds 8 ounces - which is about the 75 percentile, and still in the 95th percentile for height at 30 inches! (Hmmm... tall and skinny - who does that sound like???) He is right on track and doing great! Here are a few of his nine month pics - more to come!!

Just out for a walk

This little outing between my mom and Madison was too cute not to catch every last minute of! - although you may have to click on the pics to see them better.

Nana and Madison taking their babies for a walk. (Please ignore the shoes with that outfit - that is what you get when those two get together...)

stopping to give Jackson a kiss - just like a good mommy would!

Finally - a gorgeous Saturday!!

I had a photo shoot this morning so the babies went to my mom's and the shoot got done early so Matt and I got to take Kobe to swimming and baseball practice together this morning. It was so fun to see all the kids at baseball - the boys truly don't even realize how lucky they are to have dad's that coach them and help at all the practices and games. Nearly every kids dad was there today for practice.

Afterwards we went out to my parents to get the babies and spent the afternoon out there playing outside. Boppa LOVES to take his grandkids on wagon rides and Jackson loved it so much I bet my dad pulled him around for over an hour. Madison even helped me back the car out - she has done it once before and thinks it is the coolest thing ever! We are loving this weather and hope it hangs around!!

Poor Baby Jack

Poor Jax just wanted to be like his baby cuz and his great grandpa - so he went out to the doc and got himself a nebulizer too. The bad thing is that he hates it and mommy playing patty cake with him is the only thing that will calm him down. Thankfully he only has to to have it for a week or so - hopefully!

The pre-golf night

There is a group of us that has all kind of come together through golf. All of our husbands are in a golf league together in the summer and so the wives all became friends and every now and then we get together on golf nights. We have had a few births in the group since the last golf league so the whole group came over on Thursday to hang out and see each others babies!!

Road Trip!!

As many of you know my mom and I took the 3 kids last week on a road trip to Minnesota to visit my aunt, and then on to Wisconsin to visit my grandparents. We had an absolute blast and kept busy from morning to night. Here are some pics of what we did!!
Our first outing in MN was to Minnehaha Falls - but it was SO cold - we didn't last too long!

We spent quite a bit of time at Mall of America due to the nasty weather outside - the kids had SO much fun at the amusement park inside. Kobe even rode the logride alone twice, and with Nana once!! He and I did some rollercoasters and other rides. They also spent some time in lego land, build a bear workshop and a new store where Madison got to make her own doll, and took a few naps around the mall which was good shopping time for mommy!!

We went to the Childrens Museum in downtown St. Paul one day and it was by far the most fun with the kids. They had a BLAST - it was so much fun to watch them play - even Jackson had fun. I really don't know if there is anything I would rather do than watch my kids play and have fun!

After we left Minnesota on Saturday we drove to Wisconsin to spend time with my grandparents - they loved seeing their great grandkids!!

The hotel time was of course also fun, and the kiddies loved being in the pool!!

Jax even popped through a new tooth on top - and has several more ready to come through any day now!

The drive time was long and I am pretty sure Jack is scarred from ever getting in his carseat again - but we made the most of it and are so thankful to have such a patient nana who played, sang songs, and read stories to keep them all entertained. We did stop in Wisconsin to see the cows - Madison has a new found fascination with them. She kept them entertained by waving and mooing at them!
