And we're off...

The Baby Countdown... I went to the doctor yesterday and I have dilated to 1 cm and am 60% effaced. What does that mean? Nothing really - aside from the fact that he still thinks we will just be lucky to go another 2-3 weeks. Let's just hope this little guy hangs in there long enough to get Matt through Trevor's wedding!
Kobe's last day of 1st grade was yesterday! He is pretty excited to be on summer break, but will be more excited when he gets to sleep in and stay home with Mom, Maddie and the baby.
Madison is doing great and driving me crazy getting into absolutely everything!!!
The new photo business is going great and keeping me really busy - thanks so much to everyone who has given me referrals (especially you Smuff!).

Madison's 1st Birthday

Madison turned ONE yesterday and celebrated with her 1st haircut (yes for those of you ready to crack the "what hair" joke - your too late - 300 people have already said it...) and another party. Thanks again to everyone who came over to help up celebrate - we are so lucky to have such great friends and family! Our newest Bosley addition even made the celebration - she is sooo sweet and adorable!
Matt and I went to the doctor yesterday and today and it looks like this little guy (hey - I can hope...) will hold off for just a little while longer!! Our FFN test came back negative and so we will have at least another 2 weeks of pregnancy bliss. The doctors were both really optimistic and think things are looking good! We got some great ultrasound pictures and this little one looks like it's packing quite a schnauzer - so we are anxious to see what he or she looks like!

Madison's 1st Birthday Party

Well Saturday we officially had Madison's 1st Birthday Princess Party! Thanks to all the family who came out to Grandma & Grandpa Bosley's to help us celebrate! Aside from the wind we had a great time! It was a great day and we had so much fun. Madison was so exhausted that she fell asleep on the way home and basically slept until 10:45 the next morning!!! I will post some more pictures soon.

The first of many...

Since I do still work in the world of "all things geek", I have learned that "blogging" is the great new way to keep your friends and family up to date and with all the very busy and exciting things that we have going on in the Bosley family this year - I decided it was time for me to truly enter the nerd world and start up a blog...
First things first! Our cousin - Jess LaRock and her husband Mac - just had their first little baby girl this morning named Addison Louise. Grandma says she is beautiful! :) We are so happy for them and excited that they have kicked off the Bosley Baby Craze that will be happening this year, 1 down, 3 to go...
Secondly - I went to see my doctor yesterday and apparently the baby has dropped pretty low, but nothing else is going on. He is pretty confident that we will be lucky to just get this one to 34 weeks and above 5 pounds. Who knows with babies though - they have a mind of their own - and there are always miracles that happen - but for now - we are preparing to welcome our new little one in the next month or so. Please keep praying that the baby is healthy. I was really disappointed because I really thought I would be able to carry this one full term, but as you can see with Madison and Kobe - they turn out just fine in the end!
