Wad up?!

Madison and Kobe do this dancing thing to the hip hop music in the car where they cross their arms and make this "cool" face and nod their heads up and down - I wish I had a video of it but these pics will have to do for now - it is HILARIOUS!! She thinks she is SOOO cool. (No worries - Matt was the one driving while I took these)

The Zoo Fieldtrip

Kobe's 2nd grade went to the zoo today. It was cold and rainy but despite that we had fun!! Some of the "cool moms" and I rode down together which was MUCH nicer than riding the bus!

Happy Birthday Stopher!!

My brother's 28th birthday would have been today. Matt and I took the kids and went out this afternoon to his grave and the kids wrote messages on balloons and sent them up to him. Maddie and Jax had no idea what they were doing, but it was actually Kobe's idea. It means so much to me to make sure my kids hear stories about him and know who he was because he was such a huge part of my life, and I miss him so much. Afterwards we went to have his favorite dinner, pizza, at my parents and hung out watching old home movies of him when he was little. We even stumbled across my old OM video - that's right Winterburn Rd - we had a little tribute to our caveman skit - Matt was thoroughly impressed!! All in all - it made a hard day much more bearable to spend with my family remembering all the good times we had with Chris.

Reeder's Field Day

Kobe had field day at school today and I got to go up and help out this afternoon - it is SO much fun to watch and see all the kids - I think I love it more than Kobe sometimes!

Two Pretty Pink Tutus

I had a photo shoot with Taylor yesterday morning and then she and her big brother Blake and her mommy all hung out with us for a while. Madison had to put on her pink tutu to be just like Taylor, it was quite the outfit with her thermal pj's, blue shoes, and polk a dot hat - but hey - when you have a pink tutu on - you can pull anything off.

Goooooood Morning Mommy....

We had another "first" with Jax this morning... I must warn - the picture below is slightly "disturbing", but most of the mommies out there have been there already, some will be there at some point, and as for my single girlfriends, this will keep you single and childless well into your thirties...
I went in this morning to find Jackson had pooped more than one even thought possible from such a small child, and then he managed to take off his diaper (if you are curious why he only had a diaper and no pants on - please direct your questions to my husband). Poop - EVERYWHERE... quite the morning.
And yes - I did take a picture - for a few reasons. One - while most things are not funny at the time - they are funny down the road - which is exactly why I always take a picture, Two - once memories are done, they are done and you can't go back and take them again, Three - the first time little Jack dares to udder "but mom, it's not fair", I will take out this picture and show him just exactly what "not fair" is...
