Kobe and Boppa's camping trip

My dad takes Kobe hiking every year usually in the spring but this year they waited and went to do a full camping trip. Last Friday night they packed up and headed out to Platte River and my dad had rented a teepee for them to stay in. They had a lot of fun but unfortunately had to call it quits and head home around 11 due to the storms and lightning. But they made the most of it and camped in my parents living room and then went to the park the next morning to grill their breakfast and play outside.

Something new for Bosley Creative...

Being a new growing and young business I basically accept pretty much any job offered to me. Last Friday some friends (and previous clients) of ours gave out my name and I was asked to shoot the grand opening for the United Republic Bank by Village Pointe - it turned out that I was actually there to follow around 2 former Huskers and current NFL football players (Josh and Daniel Bullocks). It was pretty fun and a great experience and I know it would make my mother in law proud...

We went down to Shen on Monday and surprised Grandma, Buns and Gama all at work and then dropped by G&G Bosleys to say hi before heading out to blindly find June and Larry's house and getting ridiculously lost in Essex. Thankfully the good man at the auto shop knew exactly where they lived and we eventually made it there to pick up Cody. He came and stayed Monday - Wednesday with us. Madison called him Cookie the whole time and she just thought he was sooo cool. Kobe had a BLAST and was sad to have him go home. They did the Burke Football Camp in the evenings and kept busy during the days at the Pizza Machine and the pool. Cody is such a great kid and we had so much fun having him here.

Our 4th of July weekend

Our neighborhood had it's 4th of July Parade and Pool Party which turned out awesome - we had so much fun! Then we headed out to Elkhorn for our annual (I believe this year was the 32nd year!) Winterburn Rd 4th of July party and Kobe put on his fireworks show for everyone. Sunday we just hung out, I even got to go hang out with Kate for a few hours and catch up a little. Then we grilled out at Nana and Boppa's house last night.

Kobe's team had their last regular season game the other day and won... now we just have the tournament left.
