Big Boy Firsts

Jackson got so much older, bigger, and braver overnight!! This morning he pulled himself up to stand at the chair all by himself, when I got him from nap he was standing up in his crib, and he has started clapping when we cheer for him, going "nigh night", and today even blew kisses to Jean (our very beloved daycare lady at our gym who both kids absolutely adore). He has even started just crawling down the hallway at my moms to the toyroom and playing with the toys all by himself. It is just so fun (and a little heartbreaking) to see him growing up so quickly!



It is so fun to be big!!

Matt and the kids made sure that my mothers day was extra special. This morning Matt got up at 5 am with little Jax, and then I got to go have breakfast with just my mom. Matt and the kids got me a purse that I really wanted, and Kobe cleaned his room, and the living room for me. Around lunch time the whole fam came up from Shen and we all spent the day eating and hanging out and then went to Kobe's baseball game. He got to pitch, and also hit a double which he was SOO excited about. It was an awesome game for the boys and so much fun to watch.
We hit up DQ on our way home and after baths and bedtime mommy got to watch all her favorite DVR'd Sunday night shows. My family truly made it a special day just for mommy!

Flattered...

Well I have had some little reminders over the past week as to just why I love being a mommy so much.

Kobe had a mothers day program at school this morning and it was so cute - the kids did great and it is so much fun to see them!!



They made us all books and filled out information about us, drew our pictures, and even wrote us letters and poems. It was by far the greatest gift I could have asked for. The poem about me was adorable so I have to share...

Madison is in her "imitating" stage - she wants to do whatever I am doing - and I love it!!
She locked herself in the bathroom to put on her mascara...


She has been taking such good care of baby by feeding her waffles, dancing with her, and taking her on walks outside...




Maddie is also overly fond of her big bro, and was strutting around with his baseball hat on!

Twins!!

Our cousin's little girl Addison, looks so much like Madison it is just unreal - they have the exact same coloring and she is just a year younger. They came over today for a photo shoot and the girls had fun playing together!!

Happy May Day

May Day was great in our neighborhood this year!! Kobe had so much fun passing back baskets with everyone - even Jack got a baby basket!!

The kids also discovered a baby bunny who fell into our window well and broke it's back legs - it was quite a drama filled day as we had half the neighborhood over concerned about the little guy - fortunately for me - our kind neighbor "handled" it for me since Matt was out of town.
