A little catching up to do...

The past week was pretty busy and flew by so here are a few (hundred) pics of what kept us occupied...
Madison started out our week by giving dolly a makeover while mommy was in the shower...

Wednesday was Kobe's Valentine's Day Party at school

Then we headed to my parents that night to celebrate my dad's birthday which is also on Valentines Day

Thursday the 14th we daddy stayed home with Jax so that Madison, Kobe, and I could take Boppa out to lunch on his actual birthday. We had SO much fun!

February 14th is also Kobe's "gotchya day" - better known as the day Matt adopted Kobe - it was finalized 1 year ago!

Friday the 15th Matt and I celebrated our Anniversary. We went to dinner at M's Pub ( one of my very favorite restaurants!) and then went out on the town... but only until about 11:30 - we're old!

Saturday we spent the entire day painting my mom's kitchen - it looks great - I will post some before/after pictures when we have the entire "renovation" done - but don't hold your breath - it will be a while - we still have a lot to do! Nana managed to spill paint EVERYWHERE within about 5 minutes of picking up a roller... hence the reason she was restricted on helping...

Sunday the kids and I packed up after church and headed to Shen to visit. Grandpa GB took Kobe out "driving" to look for deer - they came home and Kobe came up to me all serious and said "mom, we saw one coyote and... I am not exaggerating, two hundred deer." It was pretty cute - they had so much fun. GB said they really did see about 150 deer all together!
Aunt Buns even stayed home from college with us. We had a 4 generations girls night complete with a little wine (well for three of the generations), lots of bad boyfriend stories, and staying up until about 2 in the morning - it was so much fun!! We hung out all day Monday and even got to see Grandma Susan!

Nothing much

Just a few pics of the kids

Little Mommy

Madison is such a little mommy to her baby dolls, her baby brother and now her baby cousin Maren!

Maren's 3 months old!!

Our little Maren is going to be 3 months on the 10th - so of course we had to do a little photo shoot for her today! Here is just a little sneak peek.

Happy Superbowl

Our Superbowl Sunday was pretty uneventful, but Madison and Daddy snuggled up and had a good ol' time watching the game!

Jackson was put through another grueling photo shoot for his 6 month pictures in his nerd outfit. He looks like such a little Poindexter - I just love it!!

I finally gave the www.BosleyCreative.com home page an update - check it out when you have time. Thank you so much to all the families who let me use their pictures on my site, the ones on the home page were just a few of my favorites, and the gallery should be updated hopefully in the next couple weeks - there are so many great new pictures to add!!
Steph - this picture and story is especially for you... I was feeding Jackson breakfast the other day when Madison snuck up to the loft and when I went up to get her - I found her chewing on a black marker. After washing her black hands, black teeth, black gums, black tongue, and black cheeks I got out the baby gate and put it up immediately.

The Big Bad Blender

Madison has become terrified of our blender - thankfully she has big brother Kobe to save her and cover her ears.

The Plague...

Well we have been struck by some serious illness in our house. Saturday morning Kobe woke up with a fever and a bad cough, Sunday Jackson started throwing up, Monday night it was Madison, Tuesday it was mommy's turn, and Wednesday it had circled back to Kobe throwing up everywhere. Thursday we managed to slide by without any casualties, but Matt isn't feeling too hot now - but it was really only a matter of time before it got around to him. I spent the day yesterday lysoling and bleaching and washing everything in sight.
On a brighter note - Madison is finally learning her manners - she has mastered saying please for things - she has learned that coupled with a smile, she can pretty much get anything her little heart desires... You can also see our greatest new purchase - the Hippo Chair... it clips right onto our table and now she sits with us like a big girl - we love it because it doesn't take up hardly any extra space!!
