We spent the entire weekend working on the loft. My dad made me a really really nice desk, but because everything my dad makes is over the top and unique (which is what we love) instead of hooking it up to the wall like normal - he had to hook it through the wall and into the studs in the attic... i know that doesn't make much sense but it gives an idea as to why it took so long and why he is in the attic... :)
On Sunday we started laying the flooring - it is almost completed we just have about 1/2 the office left to do. Matt did an awesome job and pretty much took charge of the whole event. Madison even came up to help Boppa out.
We decided to put the kids footprints on the plywood floors before the flooring went down - it turned out pretty cute! It was a long weekend - especially for Nana who had the all important job of taking care of the kids while we worked. We are getting a lot done - but still have so much to do!!!
Clayton Anderson (for those of you living under a rock for the last 6 months - he is the first Nebraskan to go up in space...) just came to visit Kobe's school today. Kobe (being his mother's child) had his camera and his awesome teacher hooked him up and got Clayton to take a picture with Kobe - he is sooo excited to have his picture with a real live astronaut... it's pretty cool!!
Well Avery and Renee came over to visit - this little girl loves her mama but let us all steal her away for a bit for some snuggle time - she is such a little doll - we just love her!! Nay Nay even spent some time with her (favorite) god child!
Just a few random pictures to let you all in on the usual Bosley chaos... Madison's gone goth... seriously - this somehow managed to take place right in front of me - I was sitting about 10 feet away feeding Jax and just missed this whole mascara incident go down...
yet another new pose...
Jax hasn't been feeling so hot the last couple days - obviously the jumper was too much.
Mae-belle's first pony!!! (and stick on earrings and ring...)
Once again we were able to take advantage of the gorgeous weather today and spend some time playing outside. Matt and I took the babies and dog on a walk while Kobe and Spencer played football outside (until they lost it down the sewer...) and hunted for rocks.
Matt and I got to go out with some friends of ours (we actually all met through our oldest boys) - always a good time guaranteed with Joel Stenger around!!!
