Darn Tights!!

Poor (OLD) Matt

Well this story has kept me laughing the past couple days so I thought I should share it with everyone. Matt was taking Kobe's friend Connor home the other day and they were talking about birthdays and he told Matt his birthday was July 10th, and Matt said - oh, my birthday is July 14th - and Connor goes "yeah - but you're like 50 something!!" hahahahahahahaha!!! Matt gave him the opportunity to redeem himself by telling him he was far from 50, and after Connor still added nearly 9 years onto his age Matt gave up, scheduled a face lift and called it a day.
This is why I love Kobe's friends, they guess me at 21, and Matt at 50.

The Museum

The babies and I went to the Omaha Children's Museum today with Jess, Taylor, and Blake and another friend of theirs. While Jackson was merely interested in chewing on anything and everything he could get his hands on, Madison had a blast playing with her older and super cool friends, and playing in the water which she managed to make sure every square inch of her was soaked before heading back out into the 30 degree weather.

40's the new 70...

Since it got up to a whopping 40 some degrees out on Sunday Matt and I bundled up the kids and went on a much needed walk and then played outside for a while. Kobe was with us but somehow never ends up in any of the pictures... And no - Madison was not going to an olympic swimming event after this - she just has her own fashion sense when it comes to her accessories. The white hat just happened to be todays pick.

Avery is here!!!

My good friend Renee and her husband Alex just had their first baby yesterday afternoon. It was a girl named Avery Alexa, She is GORGEOUS!!! She was 8 lbs even and 21 inches long! We are headed out to go see them right now but I wanted to get a pictures up for those of you who have been waiting for it!

The Cyclones

Kobe has been playing basketball and is almost finished with only one game left. Fortunately most of the same players will be together for baseball so the younger siblings will still get to play together!

The cousins...

We got to watch our cousins little girl who is 9 months old on Friday. She is hilarious and a little firecracker. She and Jax and Kobe had fun together but Madison wasn't sure about her.



Madison is such a big girl these days. We went to our neighbors for dinner last night and had a great time. They have a little girl who is just about 3, and a boy who just turned one. We can't wait to play outside all summer with them!
